This is what you get with all the consolidation - that was the expectation 30 years ago when each power conference had 2, maybe 3 really excellent programs and then 7-8 journeymen programs and doormats. But, with NIL, revenue share, and unlimited instant eligibility transfers, that's gone the way of the dodo, and it's only going to get more pronounced with everyone playing 9 conference games. Going forward, I don't think it's hyperbole that almost all the "power" programs should really consider a 7-8 win regular season to be biscuits, and anything above that to be piping hot black pepper and sausage gravy.
