Based on the Texas Permanent School Fund, I'd guess one or both schools

are in TX. And there are multiple options to choose from. Texas Texas A&M Texas Tech Houston Baylor TCU SMU and there are many others in bordering states if they were to focus more regionally in scope. Or not if the post above is right.
