At this point we can easily guess how things play out for ACC

SMU in champ game at 11-1 Clemson either 10-2 or 9-3 (if they lose to USC) Miami should be 11-1 in champ game. Champ loser has 2 losses and likely doesn’t get into playoff. If SMU loses and gets left out, I think they pay enough to have players stay for bowl game to help he school reputation and they end up 12-2. Maybe 10% chance that SMU would get at large bid to playoff. If Miami loses and gets left out, QB and a few others will sit out the bowl game, which Miami will lose. And then the ACC will look bad since our second place team loses in a throw away bowl game. Maybe 20% chance that Miami would get at large bid to playoff. If some how Clemson makes the ACC champ game over Miami or SMU, then the ACC is 100% a one bid conference.

That’s true, the difference now is they brag about it instead of hiding it.**
