A good reason to be wary of adding UNLV.
I read that the Allegiant stadium owners are paying UNLV $3.5 million per year to refrain from holding any UNLV events in their (UNLV's) own stadium or making it available to outside parties. They are calling it a no-compete agreement... hmm. Not sure they are the most attractive business partners.
I have considered that The PAC is just value-ranking some AAC schools higher than UNLV to maximize the media value of The PAC while diminishing The AAC. The PAC can always return their attention to UNLV, perhaps after the 2026-'27 season when the poaching penalties expire.
