Saw "The Long Walk" last night. It was as probably as good as it could be
given the source material. The two main characters carried the movie and their relationship was really well developed.
But to buy the story you have to suspend disbelief far too much - there's no way anyone, let alone a group of teens, could walk at a minimum pace of 3 mph for over 300 miles without sleep.

but it doesn’t capture the descent into madness of the final guys and the movie ending was too Hollywood.
