Pfizer bldg conversion update
I recall some expressed interest in updates on the screw up at the former Pfizer HQ conversion and modification. “The engineering firm that designed the structural plans for the city’s largest office-to-housing conversion project says reinforcing steel meant to support the weight of a 14-story addition to the building was never installed”

Engineering is sometimes advanced by post-mortem learning.

A recent head of NYC inspectors was indicted this spring
And there have been many indictments of inspectors for taking bribes over a decade or so. This will become interesting. At least it failed before occupancy.
