CNBC this morning some talking head touting Elon building AI data centers
in space. Interesting since space does not have a heat sinks so the heat from a data center just hangs around even though it is really cold. SpaceX apparently has got some giant liquid cooled radiators but the system takes up 40% of the power. Not sure I totally like the idea of a gigantic data center floating around up there and it loses power or gets shot with a Chinese missile and reenters the atmosphere. The Chinese will probably have their own with a lot less safety protocols. Malfunctions can also happen and quite a bill to send up a repair man but they will probably just make it a space station and people will be stationed there. Just think at 9:30 AM Peter Weyland will be on his way to becoming the world's first Trillionaire.

1) they aren't giant data centers, 2) cooling is understood. Yes. A Starfi
Starfish Prime event would be bad.

This is a fascinating Tom Swift Jr. idea. No P&M over rate hikes and H2O.

Easy peasy…like self driving cars by 2017 and production of the roadster
The physics be super hard to regulate space center temperature before all other things are considered. ** Edited by Va AandM at 6/12/2026, 6:47:41 AM

Total mischaracterization. Modern day DaVinci more
likely.
