Scuffed the first two shots, but out of nowhere hit a dart on the third for a tap-in par. ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ 🟨⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 @Hokerer, how did you get from the first word to the second? I think I can guess your three yellows on the first line, but I can't figure out what that word is.

Given where we are in Wordle's run, and guessing that they are not recycling words, does it still make sense to go with the starting words that were great when Wordle first started? I usually start with SLATE or TRACE (to get A and E, and two of R, S, T), and if I get nothing from the first guess, have MOUND for a second (and sometimes a first, if I'm feeling spicy). But I'm starting to consider a PIVOT ;^) to different starting words. Here are all the Wordle words from the month of May 2026, not including today's: STUFF, COUCH, VISIT, NIECE, CHUCK, VOCAL, AGREE, WRECK, DUSTY, LOATH, BYLAW, MOVER, CREED, WAVER, DOWDY, CLOCK, NEWLY, PARKA, SATIN, UMBRA, BUDGE, LIKEN, LATCH, RISER, PUFFY, BRING, PLUME. Now that's a huge collection of letters that are off the beaten RSTLN EA path. I don't have time to do an analysis of the letters and their frequency over the past say five months, but it's probably still enough to come up with some new starting words. Just something to think about. And something else to think about, @Will Stewart: does the new board have spoiler tags?
