Florida HO and Auto insurance industry is a nightmare

The few companies who write HO policies are beginning to drop people with roofs over 10 years old! My little neighborhood of 35 homes had 10 roof replacements last winter and spring. And auto is some of the highest even if you don't live in a major metro. Add to these issues the ever rising RE Tax bills and it's tough in retirement.

They wouldn't touch a beach house. Primarily, you need a brick or stone
