For Christmas she came with us but our other younger mutt went was boarded..... I knew she would love being able to run as we had sent her there before and she is a tall 80lbs bundle of energy. Lo and behold she comes back with kennel cough (and she had the Bordatella, but). I tried keeping her away from Maggie, but it is so contagious that she ended up with it.... and then that turned into a stomach issue and so she was just not eating. 50lb dog losing 10lbs is not good.... I would just hand feed her anything I could to keep her eating. Just this week she has turned back into the loving barking hound that I so love.... it scared the hell out of me and I can feel your pain. I hope I get a couple more years.
