What type of joinery did you use?

At first I thought this was a triangle but it looks more like 4 legs with one missing. I like the look of screws and plugs sanded flush. You can use matching plugs with grain direction matched or contrasting plugs.

Yes there will be a fourth leg. We haven't fully decided on the joinery
