We stayed at the Sagamore for anniversary. Expensive but pretty awesome.

They have a boat ride that's pretty interesting. Amazing, pricey houses all over that lake. We enjoyed the trip so much we looked into what a house might cost and quickly realized we couldn't afford those friends. ;) There was a decent tour of the fort at the south end of the lake. We did a day-trip to Lake Placid. Very much worth the drive. Once you get off the interstate, it's like you are in Colorado.
