Our plane delayed boardi 2 hours last night and once the capt finally went

through his initial speech about we'll get you going ASAP, he added, "By the way, masks are now optional." Half the plane removed their masks, including me. From all the studies I've read, it's an incredibly low risk environment, and man did it contribute to some asinine behavior -- which I never got either. The rule may suck, but you're on their plane and the rules are known in advance.
