Left for Vladivostok, Russia to work 2 days after watching in person, D.Hall swiping one away from Roscoe and the Canes in 2003. Never got to see the Hokies in person since then. It's been 23 years. After moving back to U.S. 5 months ago, it's back to Lane Stadium Hokie time. Damn, it's good to be Hokie. I love my school. I love my team. Seeing them in person again after nearly a quarter of a century will be one of the best moments of my life. 38 Days Away!!! Go Hokies!!!! P.S. There are lots of Hokie jerseys in Vladivostok, Russia, after my doings for nearly 25 years. I talked, cheered on, and spread the word about the Hokies over there and the Rooskies over in the far East of Russia started to like the Hokies. In my time there, through friends and acquaintances, we had 5 local Vladivostok kids go to VT over the years for engineering. Much of this was me sipping Vodka with their daddies and they became defacto Hokie fans through me, and I would talk up Hokie engineering and some followed through with their kids by sending their kids to Tech.
