Strange things happening in south GA
Went to put trash in the trash can and there was a vulture sitting right at the water at the pool. These guys usually fly away at the slightest human encroachment. It just sat there so I kind of shooed it away and it walked over into some grass. No attempt to fly. I came back and figured something was wrong with it. Few minutes later it's back at the pool and drops it's head down and drinks. Little later it's moved to the other side of the pool and it drinks again. Ten min later and it looks like it's still drinking. Get to thinking it's probably dead. Sure enough it's dead. Go out and no movement, make noise and no movement. Take rake and go over and flip it up and, sure enough, dead as a doornail with his beak still in the water. Crazy stuff.
Will try to post pic
