There is a curse that says may you live in interesting times...

I swear between my mom and wife I'm certainly in that situation now. My mom is in the hospital and my wife is in the hospital. Mom in Bristol and my wife is in Marion. Mom has severe mitral valve regurgitation and Congestive Heart Failure. She'll be having surgery tomorrow morning. My wife is at Marion and she has had 4 blood transfusions in the last 3 weeks. The doctors are still trying to diagnose her problem and want to send her down to Johnson City, but my wife being a retired RN, is like no I'm OK.
