My wife forced me to see 'Wicked...'

A very rare case of a film I acknowledge is 'very good, but just not made for me.' It's a high quality production, well-cast, good singing. Sometimes the cinematography is glare-y. I don't know how close it follows either the book or the stage version - although I've heard the film has been stretched out substantially from the stage version. At the end of the day, though, it was made for Wicked fans, and that in of itself disqualifies me. I don't care about musicals like this, nor am I interested in learning how the Wicked Witch of the West evolved into who we saw in The Wizard of Oz.
