Any time I take a look at the Next Door site, I'm reminded of a few things:

1) A lot of people seem to be struggling mentally, emotionally, and/or financially. 2) A lot of people are clueless about animal behavior. (i.e. - "Hi neighbors, there is a cat in my yard. It has a collar, but I'm worried about it...what if it can't find its way back to its home???") 3) A more than insignificant number of people seem to be completely incapable of doing/unwilling to do simple tasks that previous generations would never imagine paying someone else to do. (i.e. - "Hi neighbors, I need someone to come organize my closet for me. Anyone interested in making a few dollars?") 4) Lots of people are WAY more trusting of strangers than I am.
