My brother-in-law passed away this morning.
John Enriquez was a unique man. A patriot. The most perfect United States citizen I’ve ever known or seen.
When John saw a problem in his hometown of Bakersfield, CA, he rushed in to personally find a solution. John traveled to DC to meet the President (Bush2) but was most likely to be found on most days on the streets of Bakersfield picking up trash or painting over graffiti.
John, for some strange unknown reason, was a die-hard Tampa Bay Rays fan. He also loved pro hockey.
I first met my brother-in-law back in 1990 when we attended Bakersfield Dodgers’ games. He loved his teams.
John lived a long and fruitful life. My sister-in-law and niece-along with the rest of us- will miss him terribly.
