Question for those with vehicle knowledge

My truck would not start. When I turned the key, the dash displays came on but it didn’t even try. Put a new battery in it on Sunday- no change. Tow truck came today- he turned the key…nada. He pushed the truck out of the parking spot and pulled it up on the flatbed wrecker. Tried it once more and it started. Went ahead and had him tow to the repair shop so they could take a look at the starter to see if was in the process of going… Anybody know if moving it could have caused it to start and why?

Yep, my first guess would be something starter related**

We do have wrenches**

I could guess at a few things, but best to have a mechanic look it over.
EDGEMAN 11/18/24 01:31 PM ET
Exactly. The shop has called me and so far they have been able to start
WestEndHokie39 11/18/24 03:59 PM ET
Are you in Richmond? If so, would you mind sharing the name of the shop?

This answer flies in the face of Lounge Help Guidelines.**

But it's the best advice I could give.
