Went to Lillie Pearl last night (RVA). I stared at the menu and nothing was

grabbing my interest. I finally settled on the short ribs. Surprisingly, that was one of the best meals I have had in a while. Short ribs, mashed potatoes and collard greens. They put an onion gravy (with plenty of pearl onions) on the meat. Everything was very flavorful. For an appetizer, we got the chicken wings, which were very good too - prepared with pepper rub and the skin was crispy. The restaurant is located on Grace where Pasture used to be. ** Edited by Guy LeDouche at 6/26/2024, 8:58:44 AM
