Not sure if anyone remembers, but Pete had a heart condition that went undetected for his entire life. He was basically playing with only half of his heart operating properly. He died of a heart attack during a pick up game years after he had retired from the NBA. Have to wonder if he had passed that genetic defect on to his son?
