U.S. Navy reported an 'acoustic signal' consistent with . . .

. . . implosion. OK. My question is what does this tell us (and the world) about what exactly the Navy is 'monitoring' and how? It does not seem they would have interest in focusing on this area prior to the implosion. So are they monitoring the entire North Atlantic or maybe everywhere, all the time? Hmmm . . .
