99 year old WW2 veteran’s great granddaughter graduates from VT
Please help and share his Great Granddaughter graduates this week with a degree in Criminology
Happy 99th birthday this month to WWII Army Veteran James Lynch, my uncle. Born May 18, 1923 in Roanoke, Virginia.

James landed at Normandy, France in 1944 and was in combat against the Germans for several months. He served with the 125th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron "Red Horse Cavalry". His words: "I don't know how I made it home". They saw a lot of action in Normandy, Northern France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. The reason they saw so much action was due to the fact that they were a fully mechanized reconnaissance regiment. This meant they were almost always spearheading enemy movement throughout the campaign.
