10-04 been playing since I read Hogan's Five Lessons in 1965

Age 74, self taught, dug it out of the ground as they say. Played in a 4-6 index bracket during my 40's and 50's when the kids were out of nest and I had the time. I recently traded in my Ping 430s for Cleveland Halo's (hollow body irons). I'm still adjusting but the club turf interaction is much cleaner as is average height which was my main issue holding greens with the blade type irons. I'm definitely keeping a 7 wood. Either the TM Qi4D 7 wood I purchased 45 days ago or the PING G440 MAX version...trying to find a place to demo the PING this week. Need to decide on which second shot turf eater to buy now for par 5's and long par 4's...either a 4 or 5 wood. Golf is a great lifetime game and it's more enjoyable if you can use technology to fill in talent gaps caused by aging and disability.
