I had just graduated at Tech with my engineering degree and was supposed to start in 4 weeks for my new job. 2 Klansmen were involved in the weed market near Macon, Ga. I robbed them..Got caught, did 4 years in prison. They also got busted and served time. I had a former Hokie grad and friend that took a chance on me..I got my first job after prison in my field, did well, and later started one of the largest engineering firms in Russia along with a Georgia Tech grad (don't hold it against me, he's a good guy). In Russia, I dedicated free time to working with at risk youth (like me decades ago) and after returning to the USA after living and working for about 21 years in Russia, I gave up the engineering field and work full time with at risk youth and with recovery programs here in the U.S. Was my arse busted? Not in prison thankfully, but my parents wore me out many of times on my youth, and every time, it was deserved.
