He was famous for his Z-grams, that would be sent out to the fleet. And the reason my command was aboard USS Guam was due to his request to study the feasibility of using small (20,000 ton) escort type carriers.The Guam was the test platform. IIRC, Yashica RangeFinder. 35mm film camera. I always used slide film.
