One tip. Make sure you find out the yearly maintenance cost, and...

...if you can do it yourself, or do you have to pay the generator company to do the work? Do that preferably before you sign on the dotted line. I've heard the required yearly maintenance is quite pricy on some generators, and they don't allow you to do it yourself.
