There was a bruhaha in East AJ my freshman year (1990) regarding a t-shirt one of the floors made that riled up a number of the ladies ("Don't wrap it..." IYKYK). All of EAJ had a MANDATORY meeting to discuss the "callous depiction of women" and "inviting rape". Died down after the meeting and they agreed to turn over the shirts. No parents were ever the wiser regarding the incident and everyone went on their merry way.
Today, that would be top of the page news across all social media and my parents would have been calling about the protests outside the dorm before I even knew anything about it.
