I went to Sweden several years ago and concur, with a caveat

I'm right at 6-ft tall and in the US, that puts me in about the 90th percentile for height. In any random group of people, I'm typically one of the taller ones, but without really towering over anyone the way someone who is 6'-5" would. But in Sweden, I felt like I was in about the 40th percentile. Only place I've ever been where I felt at or below average in height. As for the wimmins, I'm not sure I've personally encountered ten women in my life that were taller than me. Until I went to Sweden. There, I swear it seemed like one or two of every ten women were my height or taller. So yeah, very beautiful women there. But if you're 5'-7", they are probably going to be a little intimidating.
