No the Olympic boxer in question is NOT transgender. Rather the boxer

appears to have been born with some genetic traits that are male as well as some that are female. I don't think anyone knows the exact story but it's not like the athlete in question grew up a male, went through puberty, and then decided to start competing as a woman. But you wouldn't know that from anything in the article. It's written to fire up people who won't bother to look into the actual details any further...
