I was at a McDonalds a million years ago (actually coming back from Woodstock 25 years later so... 1994 wow) that really stood out to me. We just needed a place to eat and we finally found a Mickey D's and it was crowded. Young kid was working hard behind the counter, but the orders were not flowing out very fast. This one young girl (14ish) started making loud comments to her friends about "stupid and idiot" and after a couple of them I spoke up. It was interesting as everyone else at the place "had my back" and the girl hopefully learned a lesson. But here I am almost 30 years later and that still created that feeling of unfairness with how that young man behind that counter was being treated.
