in a lot of western states. I think we as Americans, at least some of us, vastly underestimate and underappreciate what a significant resource it is. At least until it decreases. The Colorado River and Mississippi along with others are resources we will likely someday regret mismanaged. If not in our lifetimes in later ones to come.
