I sort of get that, but isn't that the point of broadcasting teams...
one's the Sherlock Holmes the other's the Watson asking questions and then summing up. So you always get the excited guy like Cris Collingsworth, and the other guy who's nursing a little whiskey w/o getting tipsy like Dick Enberg back in the day. So Tirico plays the latter "smoothie" guy.
Kinda agree with Bob Costas though, flavorless. why you put him on the Olympics b/c it's more of an academic exercise for many of those sports.
