I saw Seve at the GGO at Forest Oaks in the early 1980's - he was literally almost in the clubhouse maintenance parking lot - as in a few feet away - way off the green, and behind a bunker/trap. I was on opposite side of green - he was lower than me and behind bunker - completely out of my sight. Heard the club contact the ball and saw it appear flying up and over the bunker - thought I might have to duck it came out so hot. Never touched the green. Slam dunk against the pin and stayed in. Sure, not what he intended - but it was on line.....
