I had several VT buddies from Coal Country like Richlands, Lebanon, Welch,
and other coal area towns. We had a fireplace in one house and atfer Christmas break they would bring back shoebox size coal pieces. The fireplace grate would start glowing red and you not could sit in that room...damn things would burn for hours.
