As soon as they went after Olson, I knew either his agent screwed up

or AA did, and I had a heavy leaning towards his agent being an idiot. Can't believe it took him this long to fire his agent, though Dan Patrick put it well. This last weekend could have very well been Freddie talking to a bunch of ATL office people and finding out that his agent dicked him over. Hard to believe he wouldn't have known that by now. As a little hard to believe Freddie wasn't involved in the whole deal talks. A little bit of blame is on him by not talking directly to AA and implicating I want to stay. The deal he signed for the Dodgers basically just gave him a 6th year with avg annual pay difference being negligible.

Just like an attorney, an agent needs to present offers to his client.
