My daughter has the original strain...

...and slept in the bed with us the night she was most symptomatic, and somehow neither of us got it. This was before the vaccines. Good luck. I hope your wife feels better soon and that you avoid it altogether. For what it's worth, I am a big proponent of taking zinc + quercetin (helps your body absorb the zinc) and vitamins C & D. There have been a lot of doctors that support that protocol. I also think ivermectin is very effective, but good luck finding someone to prescribe it, particularly where you live. Hang in there.
