That was my thought as well, but...
What if it has also learned the correct response to such threats? If it knows the "correct" answer from sci-fi, does it also know that it should start trying to manipulate/dominate/kill us because that is what we have taught us?
That would actually be rather ironic if we essentially killed ourselves by programming a computer to watch our movies and act accordingly!
