I've been using these cheap ones (link inside) for ~6 years...

...and the fact that they hook around the ear really helps them stay in place. Some people probably don't like the fact that they are wired together, but that's actually my favorite feature. I wear these every day at work so that I can take calls hands-free, and I keep them draped around my neck when not in use. I've been through several pairs, but I typically get about 2 years out of each set. At this price point, that's pretty great.
