Yikes!
Why does a transmission filter cost $3K?
Is it buried inside the transmission, and you have to drop the tranny to replace it? I can see the labor cost of doing that being very expensive! I can also see their engineers designing the transmission in that manner to keep shade tree mechanics from doing that job themselves.
