not Samsung. That said, the Lounge always recommends Bosch, but those might be a bit pricey for your needs. I've always had good luck with Whirlpool/Maytag/Kitchenaid (they are all made in the same factories). Regardless of brand, a couple things that really help any dishwasher perform its best: 1 - After you put in your detergent and close the little detergent door, you will notice there is an indent for pre-rinse detergent. Absolutely get some liquid dishwasher detergent (super-cheap generic brand is fine), and put some in the pre-rinse indent. The way a dishwasher works is it will fill with water, rinse everything for about 15 min to get the big chunks off, then it will drain. After that, it will refill, open the detergent door to add the detergent, and will do the full 2-ish hour cycle. If you give it a little detergent in the pre-rinse stage, it REALLY helps vs just rinsing the dishes with water. 2 - Run the hot water in your kitchen sink until it gets hot right before you start the dishwasher. The pre-rinse cycle just uses tap water and doesn't turn on the heating element in the dishwasher. Most homes plumb the dishwasher off the hot water line for the kitchen sink. If you run the kitchen sink until the water gets hot, that means the dishwasher rinse cycle will be using hot water instead of cold.
