ZZ Top Eliminator album was a direct response to MTV

A number of bands we'e getting left behind or had totally changed their sound to match the 80s MTV pop landscape. Billy Gibbons went to clubs to listen to what people were dancing to and tweaked his style. ** Edited by HokieDan95 at 8/1/2025, 8:07:13 PM
