Interesting, my favorite restaurant in NYC was Momofukus...

created by now celebrity chef David Chang. Loved that place for years, but finally got tired of it, not totally sure if it was them or me, although like a lot/most places they certainly started cutting corners. It's still there though and maybe I'll drop by again who knows. Went to see Penn and Teller with a date and...they picked on her. Think they went easy on her cuz of her Swamscott Boston accent. My understanding was that ramen was specifically created for school children to have something to eat while Japan was still recovering from the war. ** Edited by `lag at 3/5/2025, 3:12:14 PM
