Don't know the answer to your question, but...
Comcast is not going to want your old remote back. Keep it and continue to use it to turn on the TV, adjust surround sound volume, etc. You'll just also need the Roku remote to change channels.

Sounds like it is using CEC over HDMI. It should be able to do all that too**
