Forestry, ended up working in a tech lab ...
back when tech was really tech! you know, soldering irons and stuff. I was pretty good at it, if I say so myself so went back and got an EE degree, which ... I never really used directly but gave me the bonafides to manage tech stuff.
Still, get out and hike, identify trees, rocks and birds...so got something out of my forestry, still interested in that stuff.
