So here's what I did at the Uffizi, long line wrapping around the building

I just said screw it. walked back to the museum shop etc. looked around, noticed there were little signs saying "entrance" taped up on letter size paper. Me: ? but just kept following them...to an elevator, a few people go in, I got in. goes up. opens. Boom! I'm in the art gallery, not only that but there it is, "Venus on the half shell" on the wall (or maybe the next room, I forget. I mean, I had a ticket and all but still would have waited in line for hours plus and I wouldn't have wanted to do that. Maybe a walk but Tivoli gardens overlooking the city.
