How much development do players/programs lose now with portal?
With the new state of college football, constant roster turnover each year through the portal. I would have to believe a significant amount of player and team development time is lost through the whole process. Players are now transferring 2-3 times a career. The teams playing in bowl games no longer represent the team you will have in the spring nor does the spring team reflect the team makeup going into fall camp. At some point this would have to diminish performance on the field?
