Let’s hold him accountable. I will admit I did not watch the entire game. It was just not that entertaining and I found myself turning to the US Open of all sports. It’s not so much about the loss that bothers me. What does is during the time I did watch I didn’t see the excitement in VTs play or an ounce of passion from Pry. The feeling I got from the coaches is the dreadful passive one from recent years past. How many years are we going to keep telling ourselves the team is young, the team is rebuilding, the team just needs another year. Changing the culture can happen now and, for me, it doesn’t look like it has. Coach Pry, I want the team to win as bad as anyone. I will accept the losses if I feel the effort, energy and passion are there. Last night the team didn’t seem prepared and I didn’t see the energy from the head coach. So, let’s not feel sorry for the coach. We did this far too long with Fu. Let’s demand Pry show passion on the sideline. We don’t need or want Fu 2.0. Coach Pry, light a fire under yourself, your coaches and the players. I will watch win or lose if I see a team that plays with unmatched energy, including those on the sideline. You don’t need the best talent to give the best effort and play with passion. Again, I did not watch the entire game so apologize if this all took place. But the coaches and team energy was not enough to keep me glued to this game. Which is a problem from recent years. Coach Pry can change this overnight. Play with passion, play with energy, and with an attitude. I will tune in all day win or lose. Get back to VT football a fun and entertaining product to watch on the field.
