I'm a huge VT fan and have been for 45 years, however, I also look at the

reality of the landscape in P4 football. It seems like so many of the fans think with all the new resources at VT that suddenly we'll be a powerhouse again. These new resources and NIL, are in reality, just trying to catch back up with what other programs have been doing for several years. Even since VT announced all of the resources CJF will have to build a program, many other lower P4's have already committed $$ above those available for Franklin. In reality, if you combine NIL, facilities, Rev share, staff, training, nutrition, budgets, etc., VT is probably somewhere around top 35-40 overall. Franklin needs time to build all of those to a top 10-20 level and it won't be easy. Virginia Tech was far behind for probably 15 years, so a little patience will be required as he "fixes" all the mismanaged pieces that were broken. I believe he's the right person to fix the "behind the scenes" issues while simultaneously producing a good product on the field. GO HOKIES

Starts with top recruits. 2025 class was good start, good foundation

You’re probably smart to temper expectations a bit.

It's not as close as you think. Not yet, but maybe in time.**

My projection:

Its an Arms race with more money being pumped into programs and it's insane**

Hopefully, the ROI will offset the sinking fund concern**

We’re closer to top 20-25 than top 35-40
